We don’t feel as though now is the time for businesses to be making large profits out of this pandemic and want to encourage that when we are successful, it is all of us, the community, who can benefit.
Inspired by Joe Wicks and Captain (Now Colonel) Tom, we pledge to donate all our profits from this year equally between Samaritans & the NHS
A lot of press has gone towards the NHS, and rightly so, for the emergency work they are carrying out for us; but we also wanted to recognise the stress and pressures that this situation is having on, and will continue to have on all of our mental wellbeings. Hence our desire to support Samaritans and do what we can to raise awareness.
We will do our bit to create delicious products that have a real-world benefit for people at a price they can afford and then all profits from the business can go to causes that really need them. Causes that are going to struggle over the next few months and who many people rely on.
We want to inspire others to follow suit and in an ideal world, we want to start a campaign where all business who are lucky enough to make a profit this year give back to a charity who needs it – and there will be many. Business can give back and keep them going. For us, that charity was Samaritans and it is our plan to split all profits between them and the NHS.
Please help spread the message and lets make a real difference!
